NIST Cloud Big Data Workshops – Presented

Steven Woodward attended the NIST Cloud Big Data workshop January 15 in Gaithersburg, Maryland and presented on Cloud Interoperability. Standards and interoperability challenges will take time to resolve. The NIST events are always tremendous and it’s always great meeting face-to-face with the many expert cloud contributors.

Shared Services Canada – Advisor Meetings and Alignment

October 11 is our first SSC Architecture Framework Advisory Committee Meeting, where I will be representing CATA and bringing updates from the international cloud working groups, along with insights to help the Canadian Advanced Technology industry.   This major Canadian Government initiative to form a new Shared Services Department from 43 government departments and agencies is definitely one most aggressive shared/ cloud strategies in the world.

Starwest – Anaheim Cloud hot here too!
